Fashion, style, glamour and models galore – Runway Weekend will be bringing it all to Sydney for two days starting Friday, August 26.
By Benjamen Judd
Taking place on Pitt Street in the heart of Sydney’s retail district, Runway Weekend is the ultimate fashion and beauty extravaganza.
The major highlight of the event is the fashion shows that will run every 30 minutes. These will include the latest season’s collections from a variety of local and international designers.
But there will also be a number of side attractions for the adventurous.
For the gentlemen who fancy themselves a bit of a catch, COSMOPOLITAN will be hosting their first-ever scouting event for Sydney’s hottest bachelor.
For those who prefer their fashion with a little flavour, Gelato Messina will also be handing out free ice cream between 3.30pm and 6pm – if you haven’t treated yourself to the magic of Messina, then now would be the perfect time to do so.
But if that weren’t enough (it’s never enough) there will also be workshops with industry experts on everything from hair and make-up as well as play with the brand new Dyson Supersonic – the new revolutionary new hairdryer that everyone is talking about.
Presented by Myer in partnership with Westfield Brandspace, with activations from Bauer Media brands ELLE, The Australian Women’s Weekly and COSMOPOLITAN Runway Weekend is one of the most exciting and style-filled events of the year.
Tickets to the event are free, but limited, and 2015, Runway Weekend drew in thousands of spectators so plan ahead what and whom you want to see.
Runway Weekend will take place on Friday, August 26 and Saturday August 27 along Pitt Street Mall.
