Polo By The Sea

Fashion, fun and sunshine are on the cards when the sport of kings returns to Sydney.

Against the stunning backdrop of Palm Beach in Sydney’s northern regions, the annual Polo By The Sea is back on Saturday January 13.

In its varying forms, urban polo has become a huge fixture on the social calendar. Part for the love of the game and part love of the fanfare, it draws a crowd who are after something slightly more sophisticated sporting events.

While the game itself is a thrilling experience, the major appeal is always the selection of luxury marquees where you can sit back and watch the match in style.

You can sip chilled and delicious champagne at the Pol Roger VIP Marquee, which also comes with the opportunity to chat with players and get expert commentary from those who now the ins and outs of the game.

Or enjoy the comforts of the Polo Club’s own marquee, which comes with a chic gourmet lunch, fine wines, beers and other select alcohol to quench your thirst.

Ticketing prices vary from marquee to marquee, and only spaces are limited.

While the vibe is generally relaxed, there are still certain style standards that should be met if you are planning on attending – think cocktail casual.

Even if you’re not so much into one of the oldest sports in the world, a day spent sipping champagne in the sunshine in the stunning northern beaches is definitely a must-do.

The annual Polo By The Sea will take place at Palm Beach on Saturday, January 13. For more information, including ticket prices for marquees and dress codes, head to their official website.
