Sweethearts Rooftop Cinema
Don’t let the cooler weather stop you from enjoying some of the best films of all time outdoors with some great company
Sweethearts pub on Darlinghurst Road in Kings Cross has undergone multiple incarnations, but its current format is probably the best it’s been in a long time – an outdoor, rooftop cinema starting on April 3.
But rather than trying to lure people in with some current blockbuster, the team know their audience just want to kick back and have a great time.
Instead, what’s on show will be a selection of retro and cult favourites ranging from the relatively recent – Step Brothers, Straight Outta Compton, Super Bad – to the all-time awesome such as Top Gun, Point Break, and The Breakfast Club.
But the best part of the entire set up is that it’s all entirely free. Not a dollar is to be spent on your entry.
As far as food and drink are concerned, Sweethearts stocks a comprehensive list of wines, beers, bar foods and meals for you to enjoy. Including fresh popcorn and cocktails, if you’re feeling fancy.
The Sweethearts rooftop cinema will be held every Tuesday and Wednesday nights throughout April.
Level 3, 33 - 37 Darlinghurst Rd
